John Henderson joined Staffordshire County Council as Chief Executive in May 2015 after a career in the British Army; his last appointment was commanding the British Forces in Germany. He grew up in Perth, before studying Mechanical Engineering at Heriot-Watt University; he also has studied at the Joint Services Staff College, the Royal College of Defence Studies, and at Cranfield University.
John's military service has been mostly overseas in support services leadership roles: over 15 years in Germany, and also in Belgium, the United States and the UK. He has commanded 4 times on operations: in Bosnia; in Iraq; and twice in Afghanistan.
He is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. He is a keen linguist, almost native in German, fluent in French, and workable in a number of other European and Middle Eastern languages. He retains a non-executive role in the Army.
After years in the heavy side construction materials industry and international logistics at board level, Jonathan has worked independently and as an SME.
Currently still involved with the logistics industry and international materials, he is a Board member of the Stoke and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership responsible for Business Growth and Innovation and also Chair of the European Structural Investment Fund Committee.
John Mohin OBE
John Mohin was with Wedgwood in a variety of senior management roles for 35 years, most recently as Managing Director in Australia, where he was awarded citizenship for services to the Commonwealth. He is an Honorary Fellow of Liverpool John Moores University and a Doctor of Staffordshire University. In addition to being a Trustee of the Staffordshire & West Midlands (North Sector) Army Cadet Force, he is a Founding Trustee of The Archbishop of York Youth Trust and a Director of the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia, Friends in the United Kingdom.

David Gage is a retired corporate banker and currently Vice-Chairman of Stafford Railway Building Society, Governor of Staffordshire University, Chairman of North Staffordshire Risk Capital Fund PLC, Trustee & Honorary Treasurer of Staffordshire Yeomanry Museum and Churchwarden of St Peter's Ellastone.

Deputy Commandant North Sector Staffordshire and West Midlands (North) ACF
After a long service is the Territorial Army and on deployment in Kosovo, 2013 he transferred to the Army Cadet Force as Deputy Commandant North with the Staffordshire and West Midlands (North Sector) ACF.
Lt Col Sellers now retired, was previously employed as a Mechanical Projects Engineer with Atkins Global Ltd based in Derby after moving from the LH Group in January 2014, where he was the Group Quality Manager.
He lives in Rolleston on Dove Staffordshire with his wife Dorothy, he enjoys walking in the Derbyshire Peak district and motor cycling.
Honorary Colonel Graham Stow CBE DL
Founder of The Friends
Colonel Stow retired from his position as Chair of the Friends in April 2013. The trustees of the Friends, as well as the cadets, adults and staff of the county, will be forever grateful to him for founding the Friends Trust.
Colonel Stow is a former Group CEO of Britannia Building Society and CEO of Asda Stores. He is the Chairman of IPRISM Underwriting Agency and he served as High Sheriff of Staffordshire 2007/8. He is currently a trustee of The National Memorial Arboretum and of Lichfield Cathedral. He is the Chair of Trustees of The Staffordshire Yeomanry Museum and of The Staffordshire Community Foundation and a former Chair of Governors at Staffordshire University. He is also Warden of the Worshipful Company of Curriers.
